Le Café Des Couleurs

During the bike tour towards Percé and rugged, I was told by General Store people in Barachois to visit Restaurant Couleurs. It's hard to miss about Couleurs. A great place to eat and pick up some souvenirs or useful items such as fragrant soap. The food was delicious and my coffee cup was often refilled. Servers were pleasant and efficient. There is an art gallery above. I think I'll get back a leather bag created by a local artist.

We hesitated to read one of the reviews that do not talk about traditional breakfast. It's true, the main breakfast is waffles. But super delicious waffles, the best coffee we had in a week and amazing service! Go! FYI: At the end of August the kitchen closes at 3 pm and they will be for the season on the 15th Close September.

Delicious waffle breakfasts served by friendly and courteous staff. There is also an art gallery on the premises along with a boutique featuring gift items made by local artisans. The opening hours are short and you can expect a lineup to get a table. Outdoor dining is available when weather permits.

We had a fabulous lunch with the cream of the tomato soup, which was one of the best we had. Then followed her wonderful salmon feta salad. Service was also great.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the coffee is good, and the waffles are just alright. However, the service was quite slow. I probably won't be coming back.
