This should be a very nice place, good location, nice looking improvement in old style architecture but the place is not engaging at all. It is quite empty most of the time on the contrary of all the other restaurants located on the harbor bank, the waiter is standing in front of the door with a very stern looking that is not inviting, you are even not sure you don't need to step on them to let you in, and everything looks cheap, unattended, almost like the shining movie décor. It is dull. Anyway I decided to test this place after they repainted the front walls of the building, this might have been a sign of revival. Family meal for 5. Half family went for cheapest menu, the other half the most expensive. There was absolutely no difference. We like fish. Fish came, was very nice and cooked well. Waited an hour to clear table. Eventually had to have a head to head fight with waitress to get table cleared and demanded desert immediately. Eventually some Nutella poured over chocolate ice cream and finished with squirty cream appeared. We left , paid the exact amount, no tip, and went down the quayside to a live music event. An hour later we walked past the Neptune and our table still had not been cleared. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I was certain when I opened the google exams, I would fall on negative comments on the establishment. I would like to report to all these negative people that you know where you put your feet when you arrive in this restaurant, decoration, map and concept. 56 years ago (she's 74) that this lady holds the restaurant with passion ... if you don't like the simple kitchen ... there are 10 restaurants next to .... for our part we have very good food, the reception was pleasant, the service was fast. Very welcoming staff. The price of the menu is very reasonable (18 euros) but for this price, you have a so-called warm cheese salad (lots of green salad and 3 small toasts so thin that you can pass your fingers through them), a back of hake frozen with plain rice without any presentation. Restaurant very good not to be proud of appearances or at the affordable price we have eaten on terrace my children have prices marinière mussels they have all eaten me fried steak very good and my husband has taken very good fish also I recommend

Indeed, the place remained in its juice.... No surprise, we see where we put our feet right away.... The staff, old France,sympathetic and welcoming. We ate well. Good value for money for a simple kitchen. We had a good time out of time.

By reading the comments, we were a little scared. Very warm welcome. We were 4 on the terrace with view to the port. St. James' shell excellent. Super cream molds. I recommend it.
