There are not many restaurants in Verdun, so you might expect high prices or poor quality. This one offers good prices and good quality. To get the best price you have to go for the 12euro menu du jour, which is not a menu, more take it or leave it. If you fancy the plat du jour you're fine. I had a piece of pork with a creamy sauce and excellent mashed potatoes. There are other more expensive menus and a la carte too. Wine is good value at 7euros for half a litre.Basic but honest restaurant. Possible to sit on terrace too if it's open.

We found ourselves with friends in this restaurant to enjoy authentic quality cuisine: meurette eggs followed by frog thighs, not to mention the cheese and the delicious cream burned. friendly and efficient service and reception. high quality/price ratio. we spent a nice time around a table that looks good for the taste buds!
