this restaurant is very well held by a young couple, and the chef is madam! It is an accomplished chef but we went there especially to taste the local specialties, friture of small fishes and pôchouse, a bouillabaisse species of freshwater fish, which can only be found on a very delimited territory around VERDUN-SUR-LE-DOUBS. Friture and pôchouse are generously served, and are really excellent. Just have we the place to have a dessert in the stomach: iced cowrin and burned cream are also delicious, the wine accompanies the dishes, for us a white wine from the Mâconnais: kicked off 2015. the prices are wise, à la carte, pôchouse at 18 €, desserts at 6 €, .the service is friendly and efficient, partly made by the young boss. a large free parking lot allows you to park the car in front of the restaurant, from which, if you choose to have lunch in the veranda, you will see the dubbs. What more?

Stopped for lunch at this solid looking restaurant hotel. Sat in the cavernous dining room and ate a rather industrial salade piedmontaise as a starter followed by a good faux filet unfortunately let down by greasy potato croquettes. The dessert however was very good - a tarte fine aux pommes which I'm sure was homemade. A carafe of water and a coffee completed a satisfactory lunch which cost €13,90... At this price I can put up with the questionable croquettes.The service was efficient and attentive, the napery satisfyingly made from cotton. I was told that the menu changes every day so I plan to return soon.

the selection of restaurants in Verdun is small. the menu card is easy. the service friendly. restaurant opens at 19.00, last order up to 20.00 possible then is close! the appetizer salads with a dee or speck taste good. the main course rindsmedaillon with supplements has been well done. the evaporate fish specialty of my wife, with only fish in a flour soup without supplement is more needy. the dessert cream brulle is great and tastes very good.

Although this restaurant is renamed for the quality of its pochouse (local soup of river fish ) , we were content with the menu of the day with flat entrance and dessert . apart the entrance that was a fresh and well done vinegar salad, I forgot the rest but it was correct and enough . all this for 12,50€, served without unnecessary wait by smiling and friendly staff will do better
