Ludlow Bar and Dining Room

I can live with the payment extra for southgate restaurants, but ludlow tried hard to screw up my family christmas. I had specially booked a low sitting table for my parents who are older, and they confirmed on the phone. we arrived and were asked to sit on 2 separate high tables. they pulled some tables inward to fix this, but the drinks and orders were so slow, a few drinks did not come, the half of the escape came after the net. Thanks to the nice young waitress who really tried hard but had no help.

The ambiance of the dining room/bar was welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly The food was excellent and we especially appreciated the numerous drink choices that were available on the luncheon specials . We certainly will go back again.

Had to get the attention of staff even though it was a quiet Mon evening. Menu wasn't updated as the deal said spirits were included. Wasn't told about the surcharge until payment. also had. A tummy upset after the meal Reserva una mesa ahora

Kofta and the side chips very good, hot, tasty and good size. Fish and chips disappointed, ling ok but very heavy coating bread crumbs disappointed. Area very breezy and music too loud.

eating and drinks here are good and the views of southbank and melbourne are great, but they always have the music a little too loud so that they can talk and be heard.

Really cold day sitting outside with no heater. Minimal menu options at inflated prices. For the money we paid the quality isn’t there. Won’t return any time soon.

from the moment we arrived, we sat and the commands were taken over very quickly. the food and drink was excellent and the service was great. will visit again Reserva una mesa ahora

Don't expect much with the food, it's basic pub grub. We had the mussels but they just lacked flavour, calamari was better but overall pretty average.

The food was excellent at Ludlow recommend the dips beforehand! Steak was cooked well, chicken parmagaina was good with a healthy level of slaw.
