I visited this restaurant and was impressed with the customer service; it was excellent. I ordered a steak taco salad. While the meat had good flavor, there was something off about the taste. I've eaten plenty of authentic Mexican food, but I've never encountered anything like this. As I was eating, I noticed that 2 or 3 forks in the dish tasted sour. I also tried the green sauce on its own, and it was not good at all. I ended up having to stop eating and threw the food away. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes later, I started vomiting. I was excited to try this place since it’s close to my workplace, but I won’t be returning!
Absolutely our favorite local Mexican restaurant and they have reasonable pricing! Their burrito was excellent! The steak was tender, juicy flavorful. The portion was very generous and fair. Their staff has positive attitude, happy, helpful, and friendly! Everything on the menu is very authentic and they huge options. Limited seating and gets pretty warm in there so I usually grab to go. Wish I wouldn't have discovered this place so I wouldn't be tempted to stop by as often as I do! Mariachi's Tacos is a gem!
I came here based on yelp reviews and the location near O'Hare airport. We got a shredded chicken quesadilla and shrimp and grilled chicken burrito. The complimentary chips and salsa were okay though the salsa was quite watery. The quesadilla was outstanding with a slightly grilled and smoky flavor that was wonderful. The burrito was good but no better than Chipotle. The dining room is basic, more like an elementary school cafeteria. Portions were reasonable and prices no bargain.
I visited this restaurant for lunch, and although parking was limited, that’s unrelated to the restaurant itself. We were promptly seated and provided with menus and glasses of water. Our server was excellent. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the tortillas had a taste reminiscent of cleaning chemicals; otherwise, I would have rated it a full 5 stars. I will definitely come back again.

I ordered the shrimp quesadillas, which came with salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. The portion size was good, and the flavor was authentic. I placed a to-go order, and the woman who answered the phone was friendly. The pick-up process was quick and straightforward. This place is excellent for a quick grab-and-go meal or dining in. I was in the area for a work meeting, and it made for a perfect and fast lunch.
Food was pretty nice- about middle ground, I ordered two carnesada tacos without onions, extra cilantro, (was for someone else, i love onion) and six other tacos with everything on them. I came home, opened the foil and all 8 tacos were covered with onions... Quac was pretty good .. chips were thick super hard crunchy. I would go back to try other stuffs on menu.
Stopped in for dinner after heading north from ohare. This place was a pleasant surprise as it was great food and very clean. Service was excellent and pretty fast. Loved the guacamole and the quesadillas. Really good. Not much to look at from the outside but a gem inside. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.
I decided to try this taco place today. Saw the high yelp review. I got the taco dinner plate. Very disappointing, there's literally no flavor or season in the steak, rice or beans. All bland. I took a bite at everything and pretty much left alll the food on the plate and left. Wont be coming back!

I have yet to try anything here that I don't absolutely love. The tacos are incredible; my current favorite is the shrimp taco. The tortas, burritos, and tamales are all delicious too. Honestly, everything I've tried has been fantastic!
The food is amazing; I highly recommend you give it a try!
