I have been walking past this place for the last month, looking at all of the people inside, it's always packed. Plus there's always a queue so today was the day.I got there just before the lunchtime rush but the place was still busy you have order at the counter and you can take away or eat in. I chose to eat in as I was going solo so I spend my time whilst waiting for my food watching the crowds.It's not a posh place but it's friendly clean and has a lovely buzzy vibe. Have been there several times now. The food quality and service seem to get worse every time we returned. Ordered chilli calamari, chicken vermicelli, pork belly salad, prawn rice crepe, grilled Salmon rice and sago pudding desert during the last visit.The vermicelli was icy cold, the calamari batter was hard that was different from the last time which was more delicate. The rice crepe did not taste good at all. The belly pork was mostly fatty chunks. Waited quite quite a while for the desert and had to go to remind the waiter after realising it might not show up otherwise. Don't think we will be back there.
MissChu (South Melbourne) has become our go-to place for a quick, fresh local Viet-feel bite! The staff are always friendly, the interior is minimal yet funky, fresh and clean. The food is always fresh and flavoursome. Prices are slightly more then what you may find in other local areas such as Fitzroy or Collingwood, but you can be guaranteed that for the few extra dollars you will be provided with a generous serve of fresh flavours. As mentioned, it's already become our local go-to place and I'll be back for sure.
MissChu at South Melbourne has a lovely atmosphere with huge windows that open making it feel like you are outdoors.The service is fast and staff are friendly.Dumplings and steamed BBQ pork buns are fresh and beautiful. We will be back for more of these.The Beef Pho soup was fresh with lovely soft noodles but the beef flavour was weak and the beef was all stuck together in a bunch, as if it was frozen and put in the soup in a bunch. Give the soup a miss, but we enjoyed everything else.Prices were reasonable.

Lovely open space to sit and eat. The same great choices which we have learnedto enjoy at the Toorak outlet.Service was fast and friendly, food good and authentic.As delicious as it is, I think the prices are a little on the high side and the portions a little on the small side.But give it a go - the food itself will not disappoint.
Food usually if a reasonable standard but not sure why they insist on always playing music deafeningly loud. Really ruined what would have otherwise been an enjoyable lunch break.
Its been a little while since I been back to Miss Chu, I always remember their rice paper rolls, spring rolls and their rice which is a mixed of red rice
The food here is reliability good. It's what you'd expect in your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Service is quick and the staff friendly
