We recently visited our son in a quaint little town called Wharton and stumbled upon a restaurant boasting the "Best Damn Birria in Wharton." While I can't say how many Birria spots there are in such a small town, this one has certainly earned a place in my top three favorites of all time! The building is just an ordinary-looking house with a drive-thru, but we opted to take our food home instead of dining in. I'm quite a picky eater and wasn’t initially a fan of birria, but after trying the tacos at Munchie Cuisine, I was completely hooked! I find myself going back nearly every other day, and they never fail to impress—it's a perfect 10/10 every time. You can truly taste the passion the chef puts into these tacos, and I have no plans to go anywhere else. The hot sauce on the side is fantastic, delivering just the right kick of spice. The dipping sauce is packed with flavor, while the tacos have the ideal balance of crispy outside and tender inside. I highly recommend them! The food is outstanding, a solid 10/10, and the service is equally impressive, also a 10/10. This restaurant is fantastic! I placed my order online and was a bit concerned that the delivery driver might have trouble locating me since I live in an RV park, which can sometimes be tricky for drivers. I called the restaurant, and even though they were clearly busy, the lady on the phone was very apologetic about the delivery delay (even though it wasn't late—I just wanted to provide directions). Fortunately, the driver found the location without any issues, and he was very polite. The food arrived hot and delicious. I will definitely be ordering again!
I ordered the Quesabirria Taco plate, and it was pretty good. Wharton is a small town with only one main Mexican restaurant, Los Cucos, so there aren't many places to compare it to. Overall, the rice could have had a bit more flavor. Since this was my first time trying birria tacos, I can't critique them too harshly, but I did enjoy them with the sauce they provided. I feel like the restaurant has potential, though they might be holding back on the seasoning, or maybe it's just my personal preference.

I recently relocated to Wharton and have been working from home. For my birthday today, my boss ordered lunch for me via DoorDash, and I noticed there weren't many choices. I decided to give the Quesabirria Taco plate a try, and I'm so glad I did! It arrived hot and was incredibly tasty! You've earned a new fan, and I will definitely be ordering again. I wish I had snapped a photo, but I couldn't resist digging right in!
These are the best tacos I’ve ever tasted—bursting with flavor! We traveled all the way from West Texas just to enjoy these amazing dishes. The restaurant is wonderful, and the food is absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend it!
Wow. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. I hadn't even placed my order yet, and her attitude completely turned me off. Regardless of the five-star food reviews, the service definitely deserves a one-star rating.
We absolutely love Munchie Cuisine! Their tacos are incredible and have become our new go-to for Friday nights instead of pizza!
