"The delivery was fast, the price was good, the customer service was exceptional and the pad thai was by far the best I've ever had. Albert went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable - thank you again! I will definitely be ordering from here again the next time I am in town and am happy to recommend this place to anyone."

We stopped off at this restaurant only because our favourite Thai restaurant, located just down the road from this one , was closed. We quickly googled the place and the reviews and it seemed good.We were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess and nicely decorated restaurant. Although we were only the second party to enter the restaurant. We ordered three dishes, four flamed fish, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. The food arrived after not too much waiting but the portion sizes were not good value. The pad Thai was ok but the pineapple fried rice and the fish dish was devoid of any authentic taste. The fish dish was supposed to be spicy, instead it was overly salty and not spicy at all. Furthermore, the fish was supposed to be crispy, which it wasn't and had a " sandy " texture to it.The pineapple fried rice was very , very bland. The server returned almost at the end of the meal and asked if everything was ok, so we lied and said yes. We didn't want to appear rude by saying the food was totally sub par and we'd never go back. What was the point at that stage anyway? So we asked for takeout containers and packed what we thought was edible. This restaurant is no comparison to other nearby Thai restaurants when it comes to flavour, portions size and value.

First, to clarify: This restaurant is located on a prominent corner on Queenston Road in Stoney Creek. The place used to be named "Miss Thailand" but was bought out a year or so ago by a company that operates under the name "My Thai" in Hamilton and, I believe, Ancaster. We were customers of Miss Thailand and were sorry to see it go. Our first experience with "My Thai" in Stoney Creek was last night and we were pleased. The dining room is within a fairly small place in a shopping plaza, but is warm and the décor is gorgeous. Everything is spotlessly clean and the waitress was dressed in Thai clothing. Food was beautifully presented and we enjoyed the flavours. Overall it was a lovely evening. The only downside was the cost, which was higher than one might expect for in a similar setting. Banana Leaf, which is probably only a couple of kilometres away, would be their chief competition. I haven't decided yet which one I prefer.

We have had lunch at My Thai twice and received the same excellent service both time. My daughter is vegetarian and it is some times difficult for her get a meal modified to include protein without tofu which she can't eat. The waiter [ who we found out later was the owner] was very helpful and she was very pleased with her meal. Both my son and I could get the appropriate spice level, his very spicy and mine moderate. On our first visit we told the owner about the special ice cream flavours that we used to be able to get at a Thai restaurant which has since closed. He said he would look for them and hoped to have them for our next visit. We at there yesterday and he had found two of the four types and said he would keep looking. We thanked him and of course ordered them for our dessert. Talk about excellent service. We will return again when my son is back in town.

Went here for the first time today for lunch. The food is excellent and the service friendly...tranquil setting too. Hubby ordered the Pad Thai he said it was very good. I ordered the Massaman Curry with chicken. The sauce was superb...great blend of Coconut cream and Thai spices. As it was from the lunch menu a bowl of hot and sour soup and a spring roll were included with our meal. They both had different flavours and were delicious. This is the "best" ..My Thai restaurant we have been to! We highly recommend dessert too...hubby had Deep Fried Bananas with chocolate ice cream and I had the Banana Spring Rolls with chocolate ice cream. My dessert was divine! This restaurant is on Save the Dishes App...and food can be ordered on line. There are many gluten free dishes as well as vegan dishes.
