No one ever came to take our order . We had to ask twice . I Informed them that my soup didn't taste very good and tasted like water . She scoffed and said something in Korean . And said it was just like that and left . Very well knew we are not Korean so we were like okay? Whatever I guess . Then we had to ask 4 different times to get refills on water . Myung Dong is a solid tofu spot in Orange County! Hubby and I are loyal Kaju Tofu fans, but decided to venture off and try off Myung Dong since we were in the area. We ordered through Grubhub for pick-up. Food was ready in 15 minutes. Pick-up was quick and easy. Food was packaged really well. We love the banchan that came with our takeout. They gave us two fried mackerels, macaroni salad, fish cakes, japchae, kimchi, and cucumbers. The japchae, fish cakes, and kimchi were outstanding. **Wait Time:** I've never experienced any long waits since I usually visit during quieter hours, but I've seen lines occasionally! The restaurant isn’t very large, so if you’re dining with a large group, I suggest calling ahead. Otherwise, you should be just fine!

I typically don’t go for bibimbap, but this time I had a craving for dolsot bibimbap, and MyungDong did not disappoint! The variety of vegetables, the crispy rice at the bottom, and the spicy flavor from the pork were all amazing—what more could you ask for? I even added a few spoonfuls of the accompanying soup to make mixing it easier. My sister ordered the mushroom soondubu, and it was excellent. I sometimes worry that the broth can be tasteless, but MyungDong really nailed it. The service was fast and friendly, and there’s plenty of parking available in the lot.

My most fave korean restaurant in town. Generally everything is delicious here. Or pretty good considering they have everything and you can come with a group that has different taste in food. I esp like their cold noodle (buy one get one free w/o protein). They offer it with their spicy mixed cold noodle too. Sdb is good and their tangs are good. Gamjatang and black goat stew is good too. Portions are worth the money! I'd advise sharing since the portions are huge. The food is so good and the atmosphere is great. It's got a homey feel. The staff, while busy, are still attentive with customers and gradually checking in. Found my new go to Korean spot.

The seafood tofu soup has a thick seafood broth. It comes with shrimp, squid, clam and oyster. A lot of food. Hood service.
