We started with a garlic Naan which contains coriander as well as garlic and butter. The pieces were not as big as some competitors but the taste was great and you don't want to spoil your appetite for the main course. While some Indian restaurants are dropping (or never offered) beef as an alternative to lamb, this one does offer beef so I ordered my favourite Beef Vindaloo medium hot. My partner ordered her favourite Mali Kofta also medium hot. The default spice hotness is mild, but this restaurant lets you specify how hot you want the sauce to be for each individual item, as some others do but not all. Friends recommended this restaurant (they order take away) and loving Indian food we decided to try Noorpuri (having found the best Indian in Sydney to date at Cape Cormorin). On arrival the restaurant was empty and remained very empty - probably an indication of what was to come. We ordered two of the chefs specials and whilst the flavour was nice, the chicken (breast meat) wasn't cooked - and was pink. My husband (who works in the food industry thought he should mention it) and instead of being happy, the staff debated it - wow ! There's little more to add than is in the title. The staff were very friendly and eager to serve. The food cam out quickly but was delicious - the meet tender and the veggies not over cooked. The menu was good - plenty of choice for vegetarians and what I also liked was a real sensitivity for how hot you wanted the food. Finally, the price - very reasonable.

We read all of the reviews on Trip Advisor and drove from Manly to try. Wow, what a surprise to have rude, abrupt staff (particularly the woman) - wanting to clear the table before we'd all finished. I ordered for all of us - and we had a broad range of starters and then mains. The food wasn't great and we left really disappointed.
We were down in Sydney for some training, and went out fort dinner. We found this little Indian restaurant in the main street of Dee Why. Terrific food, well priced, great service, ad licensed too, so Indian Kingfisher beer went down well. Great little eatery.
This is a great Indian restaurant! My family often have dinner here! It's has really yummy food and the service is always so friendly! The lamb cutlets are super delicious! Definitely a favourite!
