My husband and myself were brought a couples experience voucher for Christmas, after much searching we decided as neither of us had visited Lincoln before, we'd redeem our voucher for bed and breakfast at The Old Bakery. It is a quaint little place, with small but adequate rooms. We both enjoyed our overnight stay and slept very well. In the morning we headed down for breakfast where we were greeted by a friendly chef. The breakfast we both had was delicious and we would definitely recommend this well placed restaurant and small hotel to anyone visiting Lincoln for a weekend break
The best meal we have had in an age. Brodie greeted us and looked after our every need. We selected the tasting menu which was fantastic. He explained all the paired wines with skill. Honestly the best service we have ever had. Felt like we were in an episode of Masterchef. The atmosphere and decor of the venue was relaxed but with an air of fine dining, beautiful linens and great glassware. 10/10, would definitely recommend.
This must be one of the best restaurants in Lincoln. OK, it's a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Out of all the steaks I have ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot! the second best one was here. The best one was in Germany (The Black Forest and has just got the edge.
Had most amazing ladies lunch for friends birthday Amazing food and fantastic service...... nothing was too much trouble (one of guests had food allergies) Will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great experience ML

This has definitely been my best culinary experience during my entire stay in Lincoln__"The Old Bakery" caught my eye on my first day when I was casually
3.5 stars...nice ambience and creative food. The food was very good for this area but not somewhere that I'd add to my must return list.
Attentive and knowledgeable staff, outstanding food and great value. The best in Lincoln by far!
