We have eaten here so many times and it’s always been amazing! Until last night! We arrived for our booking at 6pm and there was an issue with the reservation. (Not one in the system). The staff were trying to help and be a friendly as they normally are but then the chef decided the shout across from the at us and his staff. I feel sorry for the staff members having to work for such and awful man! The chef/owner then walked out of the kitchen and continued shouting in the restaurant. Sufficed today we didn’t stay. He seemed to be angry people (not just us) were waiting by reception. We were just trying to sort things out and see if anything could be done. He then decided to shout what I can...
'Exceptional ' sums up the tapas we enjoyed at Olivares: a sequence of dishes which delighted the taste buds with ingredients ranging from goats cheese, through dates with serrano ham, chicken croquettes, to chorizo and prawn with red wine. Combine those tastes let 's not forget also the characterful and refreshing white wine we enjoyed with a cosy, traditional ambience enhanced by authentic flamenco music played quietly in the background, complemented by respectfully attentive, friendly service, all added up to a memorable tapas dining experience and one to be definitely repeated in the future.
Please stay well away from. We went for food and drink, sat outside where the waitress sat us. Then out came an old horrible woman (i think owner or manager) who started harassing us for no reason, pushed my wife and was absolutely disgusting. This woman should not be allowed in society as she obviously has something wrong and the fact she is running a food establishment is utterly unacceptable and scary. Please everyone make sure you do not go to this restaurant.
We had a long hot climb to the top of Castle Hill and fancied something different to eat. This restaurant is perfect if you're not sure what you fancy. Have three or four things off the tapas menu we had a wide range of traditional Spanish dishes. All cooked perfectly and served in good time. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the effort to get to it.

If I could give a 6th star this place would get it, wow!!!! Absolutely outstanding on all counts, food, ambience and service faultless. If you like goat cheese the goat wheel is incredible as are the beef croquettes. How have I never found this gem of a place before now. Eating out does not get better than this!!
First time visiting and won't be the last! An amazing little place with such a great relaxed quiet atmosphere. We were met by a fantastic guy who showed us to our seats. The food was delicious and came relatively quickly. We'll definitely be going back. Thank you!
Birthday meal with friends last night. Every dish we chose was delicious. The service was great-friendly, efficient but not rushed-and the overall atmosphere was lovely. Made for a very special celebration. Thank you
Lovely, had menu A made a modification due to a personal hatred on mushrooms and they were very accomodating. Great service and speed of food. Food quality was sensational.
