We are locals and have been waiting for Osteria Antica to open, now it has.We popped in and booked a table last night, went up to the pub, had a couple of beers and came back.We were informed that they had sold out of a couple of the starters and had no pastas at all left, this means we will just have to go back again. I guess you could have a negative view on this but mine is thoroughly positive, they have just opened, they are busy, this is a good thing and will be temporary.The staff were lovely and apologetic offering us a glass of prosecco as a way of apology, really not necessary, but well received.We ordered a lovely Tomato & Bocconcini Salad, Polenta chips with Gorgonzola Sauce which...
We have been twice now and both times have been very pleasant. Service is friendly and pizzas are great. It is upmarket pizza joint so it is pricey but food is good. Upstairs is very pleasant and nicely done. Background music is pleasant and you can actually have a conversation and hear what everyone on the table are saying. That's rarity today! Very happy that there is lovely place like this in our neighborhood. Dining experience not cafeteria!
This new restaurant in Annandale is a worthy replacement of its predecessor. It was sad to see the old one go, but it's great to have Osteria Antica now. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the new decor is comfortable and inviting. We tried some pizzas, gnocchi and a salad, and all were excellent.Welcome to the neighborhood guys, we'll be back!
This place only opened up recently; but wow is it amazing! Great, warm friendly atmosphere with exceptional wood fired pizzas, just as they are made in Italy. The arancini balls are made in-house and are exceptional; as is the margarita. The oven is turned off at around 9.30pm. Absolutely worth a try!

was pleasantly surprised their pizzas were flavoursome And the kitchen dishes were ok just servings were on the small side Their wines are not over the top in cost and reasonable selection but it was their first night so they deserve a second visit rustic look staff attentive And eager to serve
The diavola pizza is awesome! Bundle it with a couple of red wines and the tomato/boccocini salad and you have a great Monday date night for only $39.
Such a great experience and so authenticly ItalianThe woodfire pizza is beautiful and the atmosphere is wonderful.
We enjoyed the best pizza I have ever had. The wine and deserts were pretty amazing too. Will definitely be back.
