I've visited Panera Bread four times in the past three weeks and have consistently had a great experience. While their bagels aren't as large as those at Noah's Bagels, they’re always fresh and flavorful, even late in the afternoon. I've also enjoyed their soups—particularly the onion soup with its excellent stock base and the creamy tomato, which is my favorite. The soups arrive piping hot, requiring a few blows to cool down, and come with a choice of chips, an apple, or a fresh baguette; I highly suggest opting for the baguette. However, the sandwiches contained only a small dab of hummus, which made them feel lacking; a bit more hummus would have made a difference. I visit this place quite often, usually about 2-3 times a month. This morning, the cashier seemed quite overwhelmed. The man ahead of me was attempting to make small talk and wished her a good morning, but she seemed more focused on getting through the customers in line quickly so she could move on to other tasks. I ordered a bagel, double toasted with cream cheese, which is even noted on the receipt. However, it didn’t appear to be double toasted. By the time I realized this, I was already at work and couldn't go back. The wait can be quite long when they first open, even for something as simple as a bagel. Panera Bread offers curbside pickup during COVID—just pull up to the curb and the staff, who are wearing masks, will bring your order out to you. I gave it 3 stars because while my sandwich was tasty, it was noticeably light on fillings compared to Panera’s usual menu. The bread-to-filling ratio felt about 90-10, whereas Panera typically serves a more balanced 50-50 mix of bread and ingredients like chicken and cheese. I was still pretty hungry after finishing the sandwich, and others in my group experienced the same skimpy portions. Maybe it was just this location.

Yesterday while taking about inflation and the quick rising price for dine out, my friend recommended this place and tried today, given the taste of the food (the tomato soup and grilled cheese are so good), and the portions is large plus low price, I have to give five stars
Panera is our favorite choice for fast food. Everyone in our family enjoys the bread bowls, and while they’ve introduced a few new menu items, we haven't had much luck with those so far. However, I believe they're still refining them to improve the offerings.
Three of us enjoyed lunch at the Panera in San Ramon, where Nichole was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our visit. Her warmth left a lasting impression on me. I tried the Asian chicken salad, and it was truly delicious.

Great experience. I enjoyed my sandwich, soup and cookie. The staff are very friendly. I would recomend to anyone who wants to indulge themselves to a nice lunch. I would definitely return if i was in the area.
