We (fortunately) booked a table for dinner, as this restaurant is obviously very popular with locals and visitors. Even with social distancing, there were lots of people, and our table had cool water provided as soon as we sat down. The menu had an excellent and varied selection, with hot dishes identified clearly. Our order was filled quickly and was most enjoyable. We will certainly return to this restaurant in the future.
This family run business is a long time Dickson institution. The food is really good, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. We came for dinner on a Wednesday night and it was super busy. Despite this our food came out really quickly. The owners and staff are friendly and make time to say hello to everyone! BYO for $7 a bottle is a plus!
We walked past this restaurant and it was very busy. We decided to go in. We didn’t have a booking but that was ok. The staff were friendly and the food was great. The only negative thing is the food arrived a little fast. Our entree before our drinks then our main arrived before the entree was finished. It felt quite rushed. The food was delicious!
I had the worst experience ever in a restaurant, I got a wrong plate, and the very rude owner instead of apologising, she started to teach me how to be clear while ordering (in a very bad way) although I am sure of what I have ordered. Located outside of the central business district, this restaurant was a pleasant discovery on our journey. Despite being bustling with customers, the service was efficient, the food was delivered promptly and was generously portioned, fresh, and hot. The prices were reasonable and the menu offered a wide variety of options.
It was quite busy when we visited but the staff were on top of it. The bustle adds to the atmosphere of a genuine Vietnamese restaurant. The food is flavoursome and good and if you want more spiciness, as we did, a dish of fresh (and Hot) chilli is no problem. They are also licenced if you don't want to BYO.
We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices and delicious, authentic Vietnamese cuisine at this bustling restaurant in Canberra. The friendly and efficient service was the perfect cherry on top of a fantastic dining experience.
