The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, and the interior is both beautiful and inviting. However, the room facilities aren't very spacious, and the aroma wasn't particularly impressive. The service was quick and friendly, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. After reading so many glowing reviews, I was expecting much more. The parma was barely warm, the fries tasted like they had been deep-fried and then left out in the rain—completely cold and unappetizing. The salad was covered and seemed a bit careless for the occasion. Perhaps I just had an off day, but I left feeling quite disappointed.

The restaurant is very accommodating. You can enjoy a pint of Guinness with their round cake and finish off your meal with another round cake for dessert—absolutely delicious! There are many other fantastic menu items to choose from. The beer garden is dog-friendly, too. The scenic drive to get there is well worth it. Just a heads-up, there’s a charge on Sundays!

Best country pub in Victoria by far!!!! Dog-friendly, family-friendly. The staff, the food, the atmosphere is absolutely exceptional. Eammon and his team have kept the charm of such a historic pub but restored it into a destination. Kudos to all involved in such a huge project. I will be back again and again.

The beer-battered saltwater barramundi was absolutely delicious, definitely a standout! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly – it's an excellent spot for lunch. I particularly loved the grusel. Thank you for having us back!

Epic pub location, cosy country pub with open fires and pool table. The lamb shanks were all class.
