Ambiance is really cool! They have a bunch of lights and fire pits. Beer is pretty good, too.But the bartenders were so unnecessarily rude that I will never go back.I got accused of “supporting deforestation” and treated like the worst person in the world when I (politely) asked for another log for the fire pit when the fire was dying. They slammed beers at people, were snappy and angry, and had a strong vibe that they were generally unhappy and did not want to be there. I just want to note that I bartend as well and I get it: but I would never treat people so badly. OK this place is great!The atmosphere is one of the coolest places that I have gone in the Durham Chapel Hill area. Tons of fire pits, lots of heaters, gigantic huge screens to watch any game that you could imagine, and Christmas lights galore. You actually felt like you were in some kind of unearthly Christmas movie in the middle of the city. The pizzas looked amazing although we did not try them. You can actually get s'mores and hot cider which is way cool especially since we went with underage children. And the beers were good. I might've chosen wrong on my flights. Even with the beers that I being 50-50 I would go back again and again. I was even willing to buy a T-shirt, but they didn't...

My friends and I come hang out at Ponysaurus practically weekly! It's a great brewery. There are plenty of staple beers, but they also have a few flavors that rotate out so that there is almost always something new to try. If you aren't a beer person, they've got a fair amount of other options. Generally there are a couple ciders you can get, and during the winter they sell glühwein and spiked apple cider. Almost all of the seating is outdoors, but don't worry--there are plenty of heat lamps and fire pits to keep you comfortable even in the height of winter. This is a sweet brewery that you can also order pizza. There are outdoor seats. Outside they had heat lamps when it's cold. The people working there were very friendly. You can get a sample of something your eye catches. I ordered a cabernet for me. The guy who works had tried a warm wine that literally smells like Christmas. It was more of a warm Sangria as he explained. Very good! I have to try again. Overall, it is a beautiful place to hang out to enjoy some drinks your company or go alone and make new friends!

Excellent beers, excellent food, excellent service in a great little dog friendly beer garden and tap room. The vibe is great with a good variety of people. The Scottish ale and Belgian dubbel were absolutely delicious. The cheese bread was hot anddelicious and enormous for the two of us. We also got the Caesar salad which was better than most we get at sit downrestaurants. Four hearts of romaine topped with grated cheese served with dressing and lemon zested breadcrumbs on the side.

We love heading to Ponysaurus for the beer, but also when we're having a CRAVING for their AMAZING pizza! Anyone who has read my reviews-you know already! I didn't try any of the food or snacks but the service was great and so were the beers! Parking-well that might get a little tricky on a night that's busier than when I was there. My people enjoyed the pizza but I can't say one way or another. But the brews I tried were great and when I'm back in the area I would definitely visit again!

Great brewery with an awesome setup! Lots of outdoor seating and an upper deck to get some views of the surrounding area. Just know if you go in the middle of the summer, it's gonna be hot (duh idiot tourist me). Also the pizza was really good, would defgo back and order again. Pizza Adventures: Destination #161

Excellent brewery. Beer is great, food is flavorful, service is top notch, and location/vibes are immaculate. Was very impressed with everything- including the cute Ponysaurus mascot and the random/jokester marketing used across the brand.

Cool hangout place that’s dog-friendly. My only complaint is the fennel sausage and kale pizza was pretty dry. Other than that I enjoyed sitting by the fire and sipping glühwein. It had a great atmosphere with tons of seating outside.
