I called in here last night to pick up some takeaway on the way home, ordering enough for the evening meal for two and planning to take some to work the next day.I ordered Chicken Korma (which wasn't actually on the menu), Pal Porial (lamb, fennel, lime), Beef Vindaloo, some rice and naan.The Chicken Korma was something other than Chicken Korma. As best we could tell, it was chicken in some kind of warmed up minty yoghurt sauce (green). It didn't taste very nice. Two of us went in for buffet lunch on a Wednesday, $17.90 and it was very nice. Beef dish, chicken dish, vegetable dishes, breads & popadoms, vegetable pokoras and rice. Plenty to choose from on a baine marie. All the food was very tasty, as much as you can eat. Typical baine marie though, not enough heat, but they happily fixed and put in the microwave for a minute when I asked. Only ordered one dish for take away, so basing the review on that. But, for a simple dish, usually full of flavour, this was particularly bland, with the main feature of the spices being salt, and a thick layer of oil sitting on top of the food. Lentils were mashed, obviously cooked in a hurry, and very little variety in the vegetables within- mainly potato, even though it was meant to have mixed vegetables. Fo the price i would have expected much better.
can't comment well because we didn't get it. restaurant could not give a mist, was not there, apparently, happy to take the money, but, and ubereats also did not give any cause. the guy on the phone was less helpful than trying to appease the...fact that we had spent money, didn't get our food and couldn't solve it with over, just decided to tell me that it wasn't his problem. will never use it again, nor recommend anyone ever, terrible.

like many other restaurants this recently has seen a significant downturn in the trade, possibly because of the corona virus feared in the community. this is very bad, as the foods have been consistently good for years. that remained true for this visit. With...only a few tables occupied the service was even faster than usual. the owner was his ordinary smile and courtesy. that was great. so was the price.
My BFF gave myself and my husband a voucher for a meal at Ruchi as a Xmas gift. We enjoyed a lovely dinner, with great service from the owners of Ruchi. The dosai was wonderful, and the fluffy rice was a great accompaniment to our...beef vindaloo and Goan prawn dish. The meals look small, however we were sufficiently full (in fact, couldn’t finish it all! following our meal. Thankyou Ruchi we will be back!
this unassuming restaurant is tucked away in the backstreets of Belconnen is worth a visit. Specialising in dosai's this restaurant takes you to southern india with the smells and tastes from the region. The staff were friendly and efficient and the meals were served hot and without delay. The meals were of a good size and the taste was sensational.
We ordered from Menu log and found this restaurant. We needed some modification to existing menu like no onion n no garlic for kids. Person taking order was very patient as we altered the order 2-3 times. Delivery was much before said time and it was fitting as we were tired from walking in Floriade.

I've been there twice and each time I've loved the food . The staff is very friendly and courteous and because its not very busy, you can enjoy a conversation with your partner or family without having to scream at each other :) Value for money! !
I went for a dinner with friends and ended up being very sick that night. Had stomach pains all night. Food was average and pricey and the portions were small. I will never go there again!!!
