So here's the deal... It's memorial day, and a barbecue plans got squashed. Thanks to yelp, you're able to find a new barbecue restaurant, located near our home. To our surprise, smoked bites, really hit it out of the park for such a small establishment. One of the owners was very accommodating and informative (I'll get back to the other owner in a little bit) and waitstaff was very friendly, and sociable. The location is quite hidden being the fact that we've never been here in all the years even living in the area, but the restaurant recently had an upgrade and has been redesigned to a clean and sleek look. I was very happy with their corn beef, empanadas, their Ziggy sandwich, and the mix...
Not happy at all with the take out, maybe the dine in quality is better but if I had to summarize the food I got delivered from this place with my Uber eats order in one word that word would be LACKING. Lacking in seasoning, lacking in texture just overall LACKING. We ordered the spicy chicken fingers and fries with two sides of Mac and cheese and I quickly realized that was a mistake. The fries were soggy, the chicken was spicy and tasted good but it also was a mess. Moving on, the brisket mac and cheese tasted like they threw corned beef on top of the CHEESELESS, dry Mac and cheese. I cannot, in good conscience give this place more than 3 stars.
Highly recommended! We visited this restaurant on Labor Day for lunch and it felt like most of Teaneck was out of town, so we had the place all to ourselves! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent! The presentation of the food was also impressive, served in a very appetizing and visually pleasing manner. Our group, which included several small children, felt comfortable and welcomed. Our favorites were the smoked lamb, corn muffins, and burnt ends. The OG pizza was tasty, but not what we expected (more of a sloppy joe flavor), so keep that in mind when ordering. Be sure to try out Smoked Bites!
Important note about all reviews here: The restaurant went came under new management within the last 6-8 months and older reviews are from when the store was under the previous owners. The ambiance was nice and the food was amazing. With generous portion sizes, great prices and meats that were amazing this was an all-round superb dinner. I also had the ice cream for dessert, which is made in house by the way, and it was a delicious way to cap off a most wonderful night.

The food has significantly improved since last year, with a delicious smoky flavor. The new owners have enhanced the menu. The service is decent. This is a great place for a dinner meal, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. The food is rated a 4, service a 3, and atmosphere a 2. Highly recommended dishes include the empanadas, Sender's smoked brisket, French fries, and tumbleweed onion rings.
I have been unable to leave my house for 6 weeks and have been ordering different dishes from this restaurant during that time. I have to say, no matter what I ordered, I absolutely loved it! I usually don't enjoy spicy food, but the spices they use here are truly amazing. I highly recommend anything on the menu as I have sampled almost everything and have enjoyed it all.
Excellent smoked meats and chicken. Wide variety of house made charcuterie that tasted like they should. Stan is a pleasure and all around great guy. I've been there 3 times so far, and each time was thrilled with the food. I highly recommend, which coming from me (as a trained chef) is saying a lot.
There isn't a wrong choice on the menu at this restaurant. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a delicious BBQ meal that is also kosher, this is the place to go.

What a nice surprise! Fresh tasty clean ! Everything we ordered was very good !! We liked it a lot ! Hope they will expand and have also a more of seat down restaurant.. with service : yet their food is the best!!
A wide variety of delicious meats...and the sides were great, too! Can't wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu. Warm host and comfortable place.
