I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding—definitely a 10/10. We ordered a large BBQ chicken pizza, which was delicious and quite substantial. We also shared a chicken sandwich, and they thoughtfully served it on two separate plates, each with fries. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely return!
I've been to Shields a few time and had a good experience, the drinks are great but my last experience was horrible!!! I had a ear plug in my salad!!!! The manager really didn't care and only took a few dollars off my bill!! That was not acceptable ???? Touch pic to view earplug

Great service, cool place on Wayne State University's campus. Pizza was great, but compared to Detroit area institutions like Buddy's, Cloverleaf, Detroit Style Pizza Co, and Loui's, Shield's comes in last place. This is a high bar to clear and Shields is in good company. Reserva una mesa ahora
I took some first-time visitors to Detroit to try Detroit-style pizza, and they absolutely loved the food! We ordered three small pizzas and a salad, and we were completely full after trying everything! Isabella was an outstanding waitress!
My husband and I regularly pick up a Detroit style pizza from shield?s and take it to 8 Degrees Plato to pair with the latest local beers. One of our favorite afternoon dates. It tastes excellent and the team is very friendly.

We get the delicious fried zucchini and meatballs every week. For the last 2 weeks they have been burnt or the breading isn't sticking whoever is in the kitchen do better or quit. They taste burn also super disgusting Reserva una mesa ahora
The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful. Our waitress was excellent, and it was overall very quiet. The only downside to my visit was that the card machine was not working.
