Shogun La Verne - Reservar una mesa

I was already in Benihana and other Tepanyaki restaurants. This was my first time in Shogun and I enjoyed our dinner party with my family there. We went with children and the staff were all very friendly and they gave excellent customer service. The cook that cooked before us was entertaining and funny. We all ordered different dishes, but I would highly recommend their lobster and ribeye steak. I ordered Calamari as an add-on and it was also delicious. They weren't about salt or about cooking the food. We didn't have to wait long to eat, so I would recommend Shogun for future reservations especially for a big party. Never been here before and wanted to try this place for a long time. The attempt to try this place over the takeout, however, was a real inconvenience. I really wish I could review on the basis of their food, but this one star is deserved due to the difficulty of getting their food, out! I had called several times over a span of 1 hour to place an order, and no one would get the phone! Then I drive to the place and visit to make an order in the restaurant. I said the food was 1h... No pleasant experience. Must really focus on their take-out services.

Typically I dine at the bar on my lunch break from time to time as I work less than a mile away. I came today after work to eat again with my bf in the bar area and felt like the bar offers definitely lack service to the table top bar areas . It is understandable that it becomes a little more business around the evening, but it should not be 15-30 for a bar call to check on its tables. Still enjoy coming here, but they must definitely improve the service.

We love picking up our father and going to eat at the Shogun Restaurant in La Verne. He always gets a kick out of watching them cook the delicious food. The shrimp, filet mignon, fried rice are my personal favorites. The cooks make everyone feel welcome and we all have a good time. Recommend this place for dates, family and friend gatherings.

Excellent and so much fun. Our server was fantastic, funny and the food was amazing. I had the miso soup, garden salad, New York Steak with Samurai Shrimp and paired with Saki.
