"I work next door and decided to give Silo No9 a try. I ordered a flat white and a ham and cheese toastie. When I got back to the office, I found the toastie barely toasted—the bread was still as white as when it was baked and felt dry, like it had been left out in the sun for a while. The coffee was average and not even hot. I was really disappointed, especially since it cost me $19.50. What a letdown. I won’t be returning."

Honestly, even coffee and hot chocolate from Pie Face at the servo are better and actually hot. The ham and cheese croissant was overbaked, with burnt edges that tasted like charcoal. Considering the price, it was very underwhelming. I don’t mind paying for quality, but this wasn’t it. The service was good, but the kitchen struggled with order preparation. The atmosphere is nice, though I’m not sure this vibe fits well in this location—there aren’t many people around who seem to ma...

The staff at Silo No9 are friendly and outstanding, serving incredibly delicious coffee and donuts. The almond cake was fantastic as well. I will definitely return. A tip for getting there: avoid following Google Maps directions. The entrance is from Lloyd and Lennon Street. Hopefully, the council will open the gates near South Kensington station for easier access! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
