Sweet Treasures Confectionery

On a hot day, there's nothing better than indulging in homemade ice cream and fudge. While strolling through the streets of Lunenburg, we couldn't resist the temptation and decided to make a pit stop at Sweet Treasures. I opted for a double scoop cup of orange chocolate and peanut butter eureka, while my wife went for a single scoop waffle cone with pistachio. The flavors were unique and the ice cream was tasty, although it was a bit icy at times, resembling a popsicle. The prices were fair and the staff was friendly. While it may not be the ultimate treasure at the end of a map, Sweet Treasures is definitely worth a visit along the way.

It's ice cream, so it tastes good, obviously kind of hard to go wrong there. But the homemade part is a bit of a stretch first, because only a few of the flavours are actually homemade (they indicate which ones, which is good, but it's only a couple), and second, the ingredients in the homemade options are the same as what you get in a standard box of ice cream from the store (e.g. dextrose). Anyway, it's fine, but compared to other ice cream it's nothing special. I had death by chocolate' and strawberry, my wife two peanut butter kinds and my son, vanilla.

During our visit to Lunenburg in Nova Scotia, we stumbled upon this charming little shop that caught our attention. Something about it just felt right, and we were not disappointed. Our daughters were thrilled with the ice cream, and I couldn't resist trying a block of their cookies and cream fudge, which was absolutely delicious. The interior of the shop is beautifully decorated, especially with the two swinging bowls filled with flowers.

The service at this restaurant is top-notch. I had a special request for an egg on a Sunday night, and the woman who I think is the owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't a necessary request, but her willingness to fulfill it made my night incredibly special. I will definitely be returning soon!

Was able to get a fresh waffle cone and I had to try the moon mist ice cream. It did not disappoint. Went back a couple days later and picked up some candies and fudge. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly.

good classic ice, but somewhat overpriced for the non-homemade aromen, friendly staff. then they can enjoy it outside with a beautiful view!

When looking for ice cream we came across their store and they had a berry flavoured ice cream. Really creamy and full or flavour.

I had the butter pecan and the plain vanilla waffle cone. What can I say? It's fabulous! I think it's better than COWS!

Delicious ice cream! The waffle cone was the best I have ever had, I think it was freshly made.
