Szechwan Chinese Food

This place is a SOLID choice. The chicken feet and spare ribs are the best they offer. Wow! Delicious and tender. The fish is also a regular order from us. This can run anywhere from $10/person to $30/person depending on how hungry and how clever you are with ordering filling dishes. Other good choices: sesame balls, the egg tart, shrimp eggplant balls, the fried shrimp balls. Reduced selection because of COVID. Friendly staff, though. Good atmosphere and great service. They charge for tea, unfortunately. I was on the lookout for friend taro cakes, egg tarts, and sticky rice. Unfortunately, not to be had this time around. Regardless, delicious time!

This is one of the best—and few—places for dim sum in the South Bay. We make the journey all the way down from Santa Monica to enjoy a meal here instead of dealing with the crowds in Monterey Park or at Sea Empress in Redondo Beach. While they may not offer some of the more exotic items found at other dim sum spots, they do have all the classics. The regular menu is also impressive, featuring mostly Cantonese dishes rather than Szechuan. We often come here for family gatherings and even celebrated my daughter's graduation here.

My friends, family, and I have been dining at the Szechwan restaurant in Lomita since the early 1980s. It started as a small establishment, but it later expanded to the west and then again to the south, doubling its size each time. The secret to its success has always been its excellent food at reasonable prices. They serve the best wonton soup, grilled spare ribs, and hot braised shrimp you can find anywhere!

I had lunch with my daughter and friends at a fantastic Chinese restaurant that specializes in Dim Sum (Chinese dumplings). The dumplings are delicious, reasonably priced, and served by little carts that circulate around the restaurant. There’s a wide selection of freshly made options to choose from! This is a fantastic spot for Dim Sum! The restaurant is quite spacious and offers several private dining rooms. There's also a large parking lot, which deserves a special mention (4 stars just for that). We visited specifically for the Dim Sum, but...

I was really hoping to enjoy this place, especially considering the recent closures of PV Palace and several other Chinese restaurants. However, this American Chinese food just didn’t meet my expectations.

We must visit this place quite frequently, as the staff treats us like royalty. In fact, nearly all of them stopped by to greet us at our table during our meal.
