Amazing food in a very random location. All the food tasted very light and fresh. It seemed more like a korean japanese bbq steak house. We got the celebrity set which is I think $230.00. All the meat was so good and high quality. I just wish the workers would've explained more how to cook the meat or even inform us that we would need to cook it ourselves. They did even tell us what sauce is for what. If were spending over $200 on just meat, I would assume better service. We also got a lot of side dishes and all were reallly good. I celebrated my birthday dinner at Tamaen, and I really wanted to support local restaurants and mom-and-pop shops in my neighborhood. I ordered the ribeye and the skirt beef, which was sliced thin for faster grilling. My friend and I also got the shiso rice, which was delicious. The Bibimbap was cooked to perfection in a stone pot. We tried the pork sausage, which was excellent, and ordered grilled veggies to create a balanced meal. To top it all off, I enjoyed complimentary gelato for dessert, which was a nice touch. It was really fun to grill our own beef and veggies. I noticed a nearby customer who had ordered the enormous Tomahawk steak, which is definitely on my bucket list! LOL!

For our main course, we started with a high-quality aged Tomahawk steak, featuring tender and flavorful beef. Next, we enjoyed a selection of finely marbled Celebrity Japanese wagyu, which was followed by the standout A5 dry-aged beef, showcasing its exceptional umami flavor as we progressed through the meal. With two sets for the four of us, we were treated to 14 exquisite pieces of premium beef per person. The assortment of pickled vegetables and kimchi paired wonderfully with the meat, and the rice with shiso leaf was exquisite. The service was incredibly attentive throughout our dining experience. Overall, it was an exceptional dinner.

The meat cuts are exceptional, although the portions are a bit on the small side. I suggest beginning with the more affordable cuts and gradually moving up to the Wagyu; once you've tried the Japanese A5 Wagyu, you'll find it hard to enjoy the other cuts afterward. I’ve heard people say that Wagyu tastes like butter, but when I first tasted it, I thought it resembled delicious beef bacon. Service: Dine-in.

You will never eat any other kind of beef again after eating here. This place was unbelievably the best wagyu beef cuts I have ever had. The wagyu sushi was amazing and every meat morsel literally melts in your mouth. My taste buds have awaken, and it will never be the same again. Amazing experience and great service. A hidden gem. Must try!

This restaurant is always bustling, but the food is fantastic. I really enjoy dining here, though the wait to get seated makes me hesitant to visit more frequently. The ambiance is typical of a busy eatery—it's loud and has a strong BBQ aroma. I definitely recommend it to my friends!

Service is good and the meat is great! Love the S&P and sauce to dip grill option...so far been here twice and doesnt look like there is a long wait. Also like the traditional seating they offer here. Will come back it's a good option to a similar place in OC. Reserva una mesa ahora

The meat is top-notch in quality, but the portion sizes are small relative to the price. The cold noodles served are jjolmyeon. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4.
