Visited with our two teenage Granchildren on June. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Both the Grandchildren left e chips never known to happen before ! as, in their words, they were stuffed. Between us we had Chicken Breast in a cheesy sauce..., the Black Bull Burger, Fish and Chips and Steak in a Pot. Everything was well cooked, hot and tasty.I was pleased with the price of drinks about half what we would have paid in Manchester. I would really recommend this place and we will probably visit again when we are inthe area.
here for a meal with the family absolutely cozy environment,staff friendly and also prompt service. I had presented the prawn cocktail for beginners beautiful and absolutely delicious. we also had the tweeper rings that I would also recommend nice crispy teig For...mains we had the squid, sweet chili huhn and the steak and ale cake . the portions were of a good size and qll absolutely delicious and delicious. will definitely make a return trip. also dog friendly, which also a plus
I'm in the opposite, a little trip away for my birthday away from the hectic and the trubel. we thought of a pint and a bit of food, well, what a pleasant surprise. that eating is amazing! honestly, it was all on the place, and the portion sizes in which is very generous for the brand so for me. beautiful relaxed atmosphere.
First time visit with family. It is very cosy because of the age of the building so does feel slightly cramped. We all had food which I must say, despite a bit of a wait was delicious and huge portions enjoyed by all. Food and...drinks excellent value for money and staff warm and welcoming.

I ate an evening meal here while on a trip to Lancashire in August I had only one course, scampi and chips, but that was fine. The pub was almost completely full, despite it being a Wednesday night, and it did seem to be...a very friendly place.
We had a lovely meal in The Black Bull this evening! The food is lovely and the portions are huge! When we asked to move tables we were sorted out straight away! The pub is dog friendly which is a bonus as we have dogs! We will be back
today for the first time in more than years. what a brilliant decision. eating was fantastic and a lot of it too. personal and renter super friendly and nothing was too muc( annoyed. definitely again soon.
