The Country Kitchen/Hen House

For those who may not be aware, Mamma's Country Kitchen is now under new ownership. They are now operating as one and the same establishment. It is unclear why it still appears as the previous name on Trip Advisor, but the address for both remains the same. We have dined here on several occasions in the past and have always enjoyed it as a great spot for a meal after church. We prefer to support local restaurants over chains. The service has always been friendly and welcoming, and the food, while sometimes slow to arrive, has always been satisfying. If you do not want the business put a door there we have walked out several times because of the chain , we will not bend down and crawl under a chain, I have had a hip replacement and my spouse a bad back, conceder the age of your customers and either hire someone or put up a door

To those who may feel unwelcome, I urge you to set aside your feelings and offer a compliment to the owner and your server. The presence of many regular customers is typically a sign that you have stumbled upon a hidden gem. The food is delicious, the prices are excellent. Bravo!

Terrible service. If you are not a regular here you will be treated like garbage. Never before have I ever felt so unwelcome at a restaurant.The server was angry at us for simply coming in. The food is good for the price but is overall average.
