Called in for a drink the thatcher haze tasted like it's been in a wooden barrel for years and was cool not cold , so went for a Guinness for the next one. Mrs bought some smiths bacon fries for the grandson which he left some for later and only noticed when we got home that the sell by date was March 23.Come on check your stock people.

Stopped for lunch ahead of the countryside walk really, really lovely pub totally awesome burgers. One burger was beef, and the other one vegetarian. Both plates were empty at the end of the meal! Definitely recommend.

Had a nice walk to our local, with grandson, we bought him a pack of bacon fries , he had a bit of upset tummy later ,didn't realise they were out of date by 4 months. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
