Nearly empty when we arrived although other restaurants on the Bail busy, which should have forewarned us. Scampi and large cod ordered, both poor in quality. Scampi disappointing for the price, large Cod, batter burnt and placed on plate with burnt side down so not...obvious at first. Chip shop food and restaurant prices, will not be returning.
First time I have tried this fish and chip restaurant. It will be my last! I cannot believe they charge almost £15.00 for a small cod, they call regular, with soggy batter and insipid coloured chips. I mentioned the soggy batter to the waitress. She...said she would tell the kitchen. No reduction from the bill. Very disappointed
very busy at the arrival and we had not booked happy to get a table. they must be a fish lover, as there is very little other choice on the menu. the meals were very good, nicely prepared and generously portioned, although quite expensive .must be the posh area near the lincoln cathedral and the burg. promises clean and bright.
Booked a table. Have been told it gets very busy. Drinks ordered, then 2 haddock and chips, 1 scampi and chips, and 1 meal deal( smaller size fish and chips). Table service was excellent. I would highly recommend as an 'eat in '. But don 't tell anyone I told you, shhhh. Reserva una mesa ahora
great flowering atmosphere, business. large selection of fishing for one take. batter was delicious and crispy. chips were fluffy and soft. when we ate immediately. was a fish. a little oily. Not enough time to let off excess oil. except the 5 stars!
we love this plague....We visited regularly with local related sad now all deceased so that it brought back happy memories. the quality and quantity was just as good as and the service was brilliant. unsafe. can not wait for next day trip/
