The Escarpment Tea Room

Enjoyed the experience! A lovely AfternoonTea experience awaits you at The Escarpment Tea Room in Milton. The exterior “curb-appeal” is lacking but once you get inside it’s been tastefully re-decorated by the new (2013) owner, Teresa. Lots of free parking. The food was all tasty. Our favourite bite was the “victoria sponge cake” on the sweet plate and the veggie roll/wrap on the savory plate. The scones were fresh and light. Real double cream (clottedcream) is being served for the scone. Tea selection is adequate and is loose leaf. The drive through the escarpment is an enjoyable part of getting here. This is a recommended tea room for Ontario!

This is a wonderful place with absolutely fantastic food! We brought our grandmother here for a pre-Christmas lunch, and she was thrilled with it! The atmosphere is charming, and the food is all homemade and delicious. It was the perfect spot for a high tea experience! I highly recommend it. Our hostess was incredibly attentive. We will definitely be back!

This place is quaint. It’s a converted house to a tea room. The $35 per person is an outrageous price for the food and 1 choice of unlimited tea. You are paying for the tea room experience and not the amount or quality of food. Lots of free parking. It was an a ok to experience but I would not recommend and will not return. There is no value to your money.

I always enjoy visiting this place! They offer a wide selection of sandwiches and desserts alongside your tea. Teresa checked in on us several times to ensure everything was satisfactory and to see if we wanted more tea. The decor is charming, and overall, it was a delightful experience. I had the pleasure of visiting The Escarpment Tea Room this past weekend and enjoyed every moment! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was fast, well thought out and we were taken care of wonderfully. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another brunch here!

Fabulous spot with really great food! We took our Gran here for a pre Christmas lunch. She just loved it! Quaint, and delicious food all homemade. Perfect high tea event!!! Would highly recommend. Our hostess was so attentive. Will do again.

Atmospheric tea room with delicious tea. Victoria sponge is a standout. I wish the yummy scones jam and cream were twice the size! Attentive service. Nice touches like frequent refills of hot water.
