The service was so nice! Some people may like the food. But to me the pastries are not good at all, or authentic. We got a croissant with cream and strawberry filling and a blueberry danish. The cream filling in the croissant tastes like Cool Whip, not real cream, the “fruit” in both tastes artificial, and the pastry part of both the danish and croissant has that hydrogenated oil texture rather than real butter, like something you’d get from Dunkin Donuts. Definitely nowhere close to an actual French bakery if that’s what you’re looking for

Every time I go there my senses are assaulted by the delicious smells of the best baked goods ever to grace my plate. I think by now I've tried everything he makes but the best (this week at least) has to be the almond croissant. It's heaven! Or maybe the chocolate au pain, or perhaps the apple turnovers or maybe it's the fresh fruit tarts, or perhaps the chocolate cream pie..oh I know, it's the apple pie. Heck, just close your eyes and point, I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

A charming place to get authentic French desserts, pastries and breads. The interior is cutely decorated with the tables being old repurposed sewing machine tables. The owner is almost always on hand. This is a family business owned by locals. There is no better place in Durham to spend your money. Plenty of accessible parking. A great place to bring your kids.

This bakery is truly a hidden gem. You won’t find another like it with a unique atmosphere, amazing service, and fresh, quality baked goods. It’s definitely worth stopping in. You can tell that everything here is made with passion, and they have quite the variety. My favorite loaf from them is their “peasant bread”.
