The fried pickles were absolutely perfect—big pickle spears with a wonderfully crunchy breading. They were the best I’ve tasted in 30 years! As for the fish and chips, they were impressive too. The fish was cooked to perfection with great batter and seasoning. While it's not my all-time favorite (that title goes to Payne's in Gas City, IN), it definitely ranks in my top five. Plus, it's made with whitefish instead of cod, which I consider a bonus. The chips were steak fries and pretty average, but the star of the meal was undoubtedly the fish. Give this place a try; I’ll definitely be back—probably tomorrow!
My chicken sandwich was just mediocre. I requested a spicy rub, but if they used it, I couldn't taste it at all. My wife's salmon was inedible due to the tartar sauce, which she dislikes, and the salmon itself had a bad flavor. Even my son, who ordered a burger from the kids' menu, said it tasted terrible, though he reluctantly finished it. It's concerning that they can't even get a simple cheeseburger right. On the bright side, kids eat free on Sundays with the purchase of an adult entree, so we saved on two meals.
I really wanted to like this place! Service was great but the wait for our food was horrible. Even though the place was only about half full, it took 35-40 min for our food to come out. You could tell our server felt horrible and it was obvious everyone around us was in the same situation.
The fish and chips were excellent—lightly battered and accompanied by steak fries and coleslaw. The atmosphere was beautiful, and Alexa at the bar was very friendly. It was nice to visit, though I opted to stay at the bar.

I traveled from Louisville with a friend and her young child, who lives just a short drive from the restaurant. There is street parking available, including a small parking area nearby.
The food was superb. The fish and steak fries were excellent. The service was impressive, and we received our meals promptly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
