Have been a couple of times and while I would not rate as best in Sydney - they are the best in Dee Why - and would give most joints on the Northern Beaches are run for their money. The best bit is good quality meat - compared to another burger place down at Dee Why beach these are far superior - and better value.My only complaint - they all come with the same 'special sauce' which is mayo based. Not a fan of mayo - and the first one I had it was too much and it was all I could mostly taste. Next time I had no special sauce and much better. Would be great if they had a spicy chilli or something like that.
This restaurant serves some of the best burgers I've ever had. The buns are large and fresh, the beef patties are flavorful and juicy, and the special stockman's sauce is delicious. However, the prices are on the high side, especially if you opt for the combo with a drink and fries, which adds an extra $7 to your bill. It's a bit disappointing that there are no discounts offered for the combo, as most places typically do. Our meal for two burgers, one order of fries, two waters, and a milkshake ended up costing us over $50. If the prices were slightly lower, we would definitely visit more often.
My whole pregnancy I craved a real burger but wasn't aloud to eat because of medical reasons so once my son was born I came straight in and was mouth watering amazingness until this last time when I felt not as much love went into the burger wasn't as juicy the meat paddy tasted burnt and not as good quality and the cheese wasn't oozing like it does.. I will be back again but I certainly am not left craving it anymore like I was after the first few times ! Hope it was a one off and the chef was having a bad day because I love supporting local businesses!
We ordered the Stockman and the Wrangler and both arrived within 10 minutes and were fresh, juicy and just the right size! The fries are a shoestring style and a generous serve (note: I will ask them to hold the salt next time, came out with too much). The buns are soft and sweet and are always a deal maker or breaker. Nice option if you're craving a burger hit!! Bill was approx $29 for 2 burgers, one fries and one drink. Very reasonable.

My first two experiences were great. Juicy tasty burgers. Great shakes. Great pricing. 11/10. On my last visit my burger patties were significantly smaller than what I had had in the past and burnt on the outside. My fries were soggy. Disappointed after my other experiences and not sure if I will return.
Start of my burger pilgrimage was at Dee why hotel with the truffelnater. Witch was OK but then moved on to the stockmans grill ! More than OK !! Great burger and BIG !!! Only 5 burgers too choose from but easy choice !!! HEAD STOCKMAN !!! And have a game of uno while you wait for your burger !!
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have wi-fi too which is handy when you are on tour and have a bit of business to do.
Liked this pub a lot. Service was good, beers well kept, and it has an authentic down to earth feel. Food is a little above average for this type of pub.

Now my Go-to burger place that Chef's kitchen has moved. Great flavours and the Loaded Waffle fries are the best.....
