The Sun Inn - Reserva de mesa

We visited the restaurant at 5:30 PM today for drinks. We were seated quickly by a masked waiter, although his nose was not covered. I inquired about any local gins, but unfortunately they did not have any from the Lake District. I ended up ordering a monkey gin with slim tonic, while my partner opted for a pint of Grassmere ale and my son had a Fentimans pink lemonade. The service was quite slow even though there were only three other tables occupied. I decided to settle the bill as we did not feel comfortable lingering in the uninviting atmosphere, and was surprised to find it came to £18.50. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

This was our third visit to the restaurant and, as usual, it was spot on. The value for money was excellent, the service was fast and cheerful, and the food was amazing with generous portions. We will definitely be visiting again when staying in Hawkshead.

We had a fantastic experience at Sun Hospit in Hawkshead village. The bar staff was very friendly and polite, and the cocktails were excellent. The food platters were also outstanding, and we particularly loved the scotch eggs.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The owners and staff welcomed us warmly and were very friendly. We also greatly enjoyed the live music. Reserva una mesa ahora

no internet, în front of one of the window 5 bins, another window is a big cruce as behind is cimitir and church......very disappointed as you expect a lovely vew

We had a lovely experience at the beautiful pub with a cozy sitting area. Tony provided excellent service, being helpful and polite. The beer was also fantastic.

The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and is a very pleasant place to visit. I will definitely be returning in the future.
