What a gem of a place. Made to feel very welcome from staff and locals. Food is spot on. Friday night fish and chips and Sunday carvery were exceptional edit* went back a year later and the Sunday roast wasn’t as good. To be honest it was pretty awful, very tight with the meat and roast potatoes. And Yorkshire pudding seemed shop bought possibly aunt Bessie. And veg seemed frozen and just warmed up. Not very nice at all. What happened????
Went with family. Two had pre ordered the fish from the Fish Friday Menu. They were huge and so succulent. Two of us had the chilli with half rice and half chips. Again a very generous serving. The rest had the steak pie with chips and either peas or mushy peas. Good value drinks too and friendly service.
They use very poor quality raw materials, the cheapest possible, I personally do not recommend it, I have eaten much better in other restaurants.
Very bad, only english items on the menu and very very poor quality. I recommend only beer and bottled beverages. Food is awful Reserva una mesa ahora
A lively place with various forms of entertainment.Sundays along with their roasts and bands are unmissable.
