I'm surprised by the negative reviews for this place. I've visited four times, and each experience has been absolutely fantastic. I've even brought bachelorette parties here twice, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. Dining in your bathrobes adds such a fun twist! The menu features a variety of dishes, from kale salads to baked oysters, duck confit, and celery-apple soup, among others. While there are typically 2 or 3 dishes out of 15 that I don't care for—usually just due to my personal taste—I often find myself wanting to order everything else, even though I can never eat it all! Wow. We ate here last night after pedicures. You sit it your robes to eat which is actually a lot of fun. The food is prepared to the highest standards I have seen. It is perfectly seasoned and as there are twenty different items perfectly sized. We had the endless tapas for $45. They are brought out and explained to you in a very pleasant and professional manner. The presentation is reserved but beautiful and the flavors are amazing. This is the ultimate foodies experience. This was my third time there and plan on making it a yearly experience. All the dishes were great with a couple of exceptions that should be noted. I found all the dishes that included seafood to be fresh and tasty. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the meat dishes. They came out looking dry and reheated. I don't remember that happening on my previous visits so I'm chalking it up as being a time thing (I hope . Favourite dish was the Baha prawns and squid salad. A Relaxing Experience.. Recently we decided to spent a couple of nights in Parksville and the Tigh Na Mara was on top of our list. Although in my opinion the hotel is not much to rave about, the grotto and tapas were amazing. We booked our table for 1:00pm and our experience lasted almost 4 hours. Sitting in our robes we relaxed as the 21 dishes of tapas came out slowly one by one. Unique Dining Experience!. I have enjoyed dining at the Treetop many times most recently on March 5 with a group of 11 women for a birthday. Every time has been absolutely fantastic in all ways. The endless tapas are elegantly served and delicious. They just keep coming, and the variety is impressive. The staff especially Paulina, Christopher and Kelsie, went overboard providing the best service imaginable. I can't say enough good things about the spa and Treetop... can't wait to get back there!
The food here is absolutely amazing—some of the best I've ever experienced. We enjoyed the endless tapas, featuring 16 different dishes that progressively delighted our taste buds. While I initially thought it was a bit pricey, the quality and variety made it well worth it. This is a fantastic spot for a date if you want to impress someone! The dress code is casual, so feel free to come in a robe and sandals.
