We looked for places on TA that were open for lunch as we were in area. We arrived at The waiter seated us and snatched menus from table, then disappeared. Prime location with a great view of the lake, and mercifully away from the tourist hordes of the main street. My wife and I had the trout and the “hirschragout” (venison stew), both were excellent, big portions. I’m not usually enthusiastic about Käsespätzle, but these...were amongst the best ones I ever had. Leave some room for dessert, the strudel is to die for (and, as is most often the case in Germany, one portion will easily feed Prices were good value euros for mains kid menu, beer, dessert, bottle of water) considering the place and the likely presence of many tourist traps nearby. I spended almost days in this hotel in october You can go from the hotel directly to the Lac in less than minute, this is just fantastic. there is two Pool, one inside and the other outside just meter to the...Lac. The hotel offer a delicious breakfast with a lot of choice. The rooms are spacious and the food in the restaurant delicious. The General manger Mr Micheal Moninger is such a friendly man. You could talk to him directly if needed. All the staff made my last stay there memorable. At the piano, the gentlemen bar tender and his assistent will help you to enjoy a wonderful evening in the house.
We enjoyed a lovely restaurant and a lakeside window view in this hotel. The service was outstanding and welcoming during the entire meal. The food was good but not memorable. It would have been really nice had the food been a bit better. The shrimp...were slightly under-cooked, the spinach a bit wet but the scallops were perfect. The accompanying rice was bland. The vegetarian meal was described as so-la-la. The lobster soup was good but the shellfish in the soup was something other than lobster. A good time was had by all and we might give this place another chance in the future.
As I visited Titisee I wasn't aware most of the Cafés/restaurants would be closed so I ended up at Treschers, which was the one restaurant with a view which was open. I had some great traditional broth and enjoyed the view and the warmth. It's...a beautiful hotel and I'm sure the food is great though I wasn't hungry enough to try it. The restaurant belongs to the hotels aside. It has a very long history and the inner decoration of the restaurant is really awesome. It has good view of the lake and the food that we tried (potato soup and pork) are very good. The dark...forest cake they make is low sugar with fresh cherries, really delicious.
