"The long black was very disappointing—there was no crema at all, and I could easily make a better one at home. The staff seemed very young and lacked basic customer service skills. I'm really surprised by the poor quality of the coffee and the apparent lack of enthusiasm from the staff, especially in such a busy café area. I’m really impressed with the staff here. Although they got my order wrong the first two times because it was a bit complicated, the third time I visited, the lady had memorized it! Truly impressive. This has become my go-to coffee spot, especially since it’s so close to work. The breakfast wrap is perfect, and I love pairing it with my complicated tea drink, which they make flawlessly. I just wish they played some calm music in the morning—something like Hollow Coves or Rod Coote—because I enjoy spending about 15 minutes there relaxing or catching up on the news. From the moment I stepped into Trillium South Melbourne, I was struck by the girl taking orders at the EFTPOS. She greeted everyone with a warm “good morning,” speaking with such grace and gentleness. Her passion and calmness shone through as she served the food and coffees, always with a smile. The coffee was among the best I’ve ever tasted, and I really appreciated the variety of healthy options on the menu, both for dine-in and takeaway.
