Unassuming little place in downtown Lincoln You order and pay before you sit down. They bring your food to the table and remove the plates when you are done. The service was fast and friendly. The place looked clean the food looked really good and tasted fresh too! I wish I would have taken a picture. We each got a roll a bottle of soda and shared a basket of fish and chips. I liked the spicy day over the dragon. The fries could've been better, but they came out piping hot with the fish. I like the little mom and pop stores over the chain places. I little pricier but probably healthier over all.
Pretty good fish and chips place, nothing super spectacular other than your typical fish and fish restaurant. However, they do serve sushi here as well which is something you don't find at most other fish and chips spots. I got the fish and calamari, the fish was good, crunchy and fluffy, very fresh. The calamari was crunchy but slightly rough and rubbery. The chips or fries) are crunchy and hot! I love it! Overall pretty good and the staff was super nice! I will come back again!
I recently enjoyed the dragon roll at this restaurant. The presentation was beautiful, and it tasted amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the sushi, especially considering it's a small, old-looking fish and chips place. Despite a long wait due to only two workers (the husband as chef and the wife as cashier/waitress) and the lunchtime rush, it was worth it. It's clear that this place is popular for good reason. I will definitely be returning.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and chips at Tugboat. The fish was cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and tender interior, while the chips were golden and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous and the presentation was impressive. I would definitely recommend Tugboat fish and chips for a delicious seafood lunch treat!

Tugboat Fish and Chips is a little hole in the wall family owned joint that lives up to its namesake. The fried fish is perfectly fried coming out flaky and hot not overly greasy like other places. Although the drink selection could be better, the order was taken and served with a smile. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
The only downsides were the basic frozen crinkle-cut fries, which were nothing special, and the sticky vinegar bottle on our table that needed a good clean. Overall, we will definitely be back. Next time, we'll try the lumpia and maybe some hushpuppies! I would give this restaurant 4 and a half stars if I could.
