BEWARE THIS PLACE IS SLY! Ordered two breakfast duos Without informing us, blueberry chocolate chip pancakes was extra . She did inform us that turkey bacon was extra. OK. A meal that costs 9.99 nearly doubled to 17.48. NOT COOL. We were served smuckers ?breakfast syrup? so we asked for maple syrup. (Peep the little sauce cup in the pic. Without informing us this was 2.59 extra. NOT COOL. Then we realized we weren?t served our toast that comes with the breakfast duo she said we had to request this. WHAT???? There?s also fake Heinz ketchup. SLY. P.S. customers that don?t pay cash get a fee added to their receipt. This place is so deceitful, I wouldn?t recommend.
I stumbled across this diner for lunch. I called in my order of a vegetable stir fry and lentil soup. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I was greeted when I walked in and paid for the food. They charge a surcharge for credit cards fyi. One thing I have to complain about is the packing of the food. The vegetables were packed in a separate container and it collapsed when the rice was on top and it got all over the bag. I had to be super careful driving home. When I got in I dug in and I will say the lentil soup and the stir fry was very good. I enjoyed the meal.
It's a common occurrence at many restaurants. You sit down at your local diner and see a group of 10 kids come in, order only 2 orders of fries to share, and then leave without leaving a tip for the server. Parents should do a better job teaching their children about the importance of tipping and treating others with respect. It's not right to treat servers like they don't matter. Remember the saying, "don't poo where you eat" - be kind and show respect to everyone, including your server.
Food was excellent! Fried calamari was CRISP but tender and VERY shareable. The buffalo chicken quesadillas were thick and generously filled and (you guessed it) shareable. The pork chops were broiled to perfection and I took one home. Portion sizes are a bit big. Service good. Cocktails a bit overpriced.

Definitely the Diner can do whatever they want to do. It is their business not yours. Kids do not tip because their PARENTS don’t teach them. They also will run out on the bill, leaving the waitress to eat the bill. If you don’t like their policy, there are only 1000 more diners to go to in NJ.
As a former bartender and server, I absolutely applaud you for doing right by your staff. There should be more owners who stand up and do the same thing.

I have witnessed youths at restraunts leave without tipping. If you don't like it then go somewhere else.
