I've been coming here for years, but honestly, the quality has declined. They now charge for even the smallest things, like sauce for your rice or jerk sauce for the jerk chicken—it's almost amusing! I ordered takeout and they forgot to include utensils. When I called to let them know, they told me I didn't ask for them. Since when do I need to specifically request utensils for takeout? It seems like basic courtesy to include them, regardless. This feels like a greedy move on their part. I wouldn't be sharing this if they hadn't been rude when I called. The food is okay, but definitely overpriced. They also no longer include plantains in your meal because that's now an extra charge. Do yours...
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I ordered the curried goat with rice and peas, accompanied by steamed cabbage. I specifically requested that they not add gravy to the rice, and they honored my request perfectly. The rice and steamed cabbage were cooked just right. However, the meat was quite salty. While the flavor was good, the high sodium content made it less enjoyable. There seemed to be more gravy than meat. I see the potential for this restaurant to be very good; they just need to be more careful with the salt. I will definitely try another dish there in hopes of having a better experience. For now, I would rate them 3.5 stars.
I have being looking for a real jamaican restaurant in NJ for many years and i finally got it. I love the food here, they have options for everyone!! My husband he doesnt eat meat)got callalloo with rice peas and vegetables with some fish gravy. Igot oxtails, taste delicious and was a really good portion! I will keep coming their big menu!
I ordered sweet and chill chicken wings with rastepasta, The Quality of the food is really low quality Inside of my chicken was Yellow and a lot of black veins ithroughout the whole chicken. the pasta was horrible,I couldn't believe how Nasty the pasta was,waste of 18.00 and I will not be returning

We ordered jerk chicken and white rice with oxtail gravy. Jerk lacked flavor and needed more cooking time oxtail gravy ok overall this food did not give authentic Caribbean flavor at all sorry service good exchanged food for beef patties which were just ok prices fair place clean
The food lost its authentic Jamaican flavor. Ordered brown stew chicken and rice and peas. The chicken had no flavor, no brown sauce. The rice and peas were not authentic Jamaican flavor at all no thyme,coconut milk ,no authentic peas. Will never eat here again.
Ordered off of Uber eats this food was old and hard. 12:30 in the afternoon. Ordered oxtails rice and peas, steamed vegetables for $20 and received 4 pieces of oxtails, hard rice and peas. Utterly disappointed. No forks or napkins. Terrible never again.
The plantain porridge was quite disappointing. It was overly sweet, watery, and dominated by an overpowering cinnamon flavor along with other spices. It felt more like diluted cornmeal porridge than anything resembling plantain.

I would definitely recommend anybody here the service is wonderful, the food is excellent a definite 10/10 especially the oxtails and jerk chicken the best
