Coming from out of town I was disappointed. We had to make reservations for what,there were less than ten customers in the restaurant? We weren't greeted just pointed where to sit. My relatives I waited for over two minutes before coming over didn't feel welcomed but we said the food got to be better. The food was okay one part was cold. I asked for something the hostess acted lol like we bothered her didn't smile and I had enough margarine to share with many. The ice tea was nice. Oh the server needs to learn hygiene protocol after you've come from back of the house,the hostess needed to learn protocol too,anyone serving the public and customer service training also. The waiter should have been better her customer service wasn't up to part she didn't come bk and check up on us like she suppose to we couldn't even order another drink cause we got tired of waiting we just wanting the check and go. She kept being on the phone walking pass us bad customer service food was great .!! When we sat down we didn't get service until like 45 mins after beening seated . After we got done eating we had to wait other 40 mins for her to come to recieve the check and a box to go
What I ordered: fried chicken, rice, eggs over medium. Chicken is wonderfully seasoned, eggs were perfect. I would have appreciated butter and salt for the rice. What I ordered: 4 sider: 4 sides of my choice which were Mac cheese- delicious! Candied yams- wonderful. Cornbread dressing-outstanding. Greens-tasty but a bit bitter. I ordered half tea/ half lemonade. It was a bright pink color and was not good at all. The food is good, but not wallet friendly. I'll go again, but not too often.
I left feeling hungry, to be honest. I realize that it’s not your typical waffle house, but I had higher expectations for my breakfast. If you're looking for a place with stylish leather booths and a good atmosphere, and you're willing to spend over $20, then this is the place for you. I rated it a 4 mainly because the food was quite bland, and they made my $14 breakfast special look even smaller by serving it on a giant plate.

They forced me to order something I didn’t want . They didn’t tell me they didn’t have the item just gave it to me. Highly upset and I paid a $100 with a $13 tip . They had my number to inform me they didn’t have grits . But didn’t say a thing . It’s the reason I got the chicken and waffle breakfast . I would’ve just got soul food . I’m highly upset
I highly recommend this place! It's warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Tucked away from the main hustle and bustle, the ambiance is enhanced by excellent music, and the food is fantastic. Be sure to give it a visit!
20/10. Absolutely love this place! Waffles were crispy and immaculate. The mac and cheese? TOP TIER. The chicken? Fried to the gods. I’m so glad I do not live in Oak Park because my paychecks would be done for.
