The menu is extensive, featuring many classics alongside some unique options. We kicked off our meal with some delectable wasabi-crusted prawns and beef wrapped in betel leaves. Both appetizers were outstanding; the prawns had a wonderful kick of spice, while the beef was tender and full of flavor. For our main courses, we selected the roasted duck platter, sticky salmon, and a refreshing Vietnamese salad. The duck was abundant and beautifully presented, boasting crispy golden skin and fantastic dipping sauces. The meat was succulent and juicy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the platter. The salmon was cooked to perfection, its sticky sauce bursting with flavor that made it hard to resist. The V...

Ngon is a cute little local Vietnamese restaurant in Highett. Though we’re from the other side of the city, the long journey to the bayside was totally worth it!<br/ <br/ The menu is extensive and offers a ton of variety. We tried a number of their most popular dishes, the highlights being:<br/ <br/ Green Prawns a very unique take on a fried prawn! They use some sort of cereal coating which is very crispy and yummy. I love the wasabi mayo dipping sauce!<br/ <br/ Banh Xeo one of my favourite dishes here! The crepe was crispy and thin, and it was filled with heaps of bean sprouts, prawn and pork. It’s served with a plate of lettuce and herbs to wrap, and a delightful sweet dipping sauce. So re...

For starters, we had the Banh Xeo, which was a delightful balance of flavors. The dish had a great combination of vegetables, meat, and pancake. We had never tried roasted pork in this dish before, but it was an excellent addition — tender, juicy, and with perfectly crispy skin. Next, we enjoyed the beef pho, made with a broth that had been simmered for 12 hours. The meats were tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The broth was flavorful and came with a side of fresh mint and bean sprouts. We also tried five-spice tofu rice paper rolls, which were packed with sliced tofu and well-cooked vermicelli. The hoisin peanut dipping sauce was a perfect complement to the rolls. To coo... Reserva una mesa ahora

Ngon is conveniently located just around the corner from us, and we've been searching for a great Vietnamese restaurant in the area. We tried the banh xèo (Vietnamese pancake), red duck curry, and ham hock, all of which were absolutely divine. We also enjoyed Mama's fried rice—so delicious! The food was authentic and packed with genuine Vietnamese flavors. The staff were incredibly friendly and ensured we were well taken care of. We will definitely be returning!

Ngon is the place to get amazing Vietnamese cuisine in Highett! Run by a lovely Vietnamese couple, they’re serving up amazing dishes that’ll sate any appetite, like VFC crispy crunchy Vietnamese fried chicken, or the succulent roast duck, and banh xeo (crispy Vietnamese crepes) wash it all down with a sofa chanh a traditional Vietnamese soft drink! Definitely the place in Highett to hit up for Vietnamese!

Highett isn’t the first place you’d think of Vietnamese food and here sits a hidden gem. Ngon Vietnamese translates to Yum Vietnamese and you’ve gotta be amazing to name your restaurant that. The staff were super friendly and we came in at lunch time which we found out that not a lot of people come in for lunch, but for dinner. So luckily for us we had the whole venue to ourselves *wink wink*.

I've visited this restaurant a few times, and I must say the pho is outstanding. There's no MSG, the broth is rich and thick, and the meat is lean. The restaurant itself is clean and has a modern ambiance. I highly recommend it!
