I have tried all three sushi houses in oak Park for years and this is the best combo for quality and price and environment given the inflation and declining quality in many restaurants today. I had been a fan of another one but now I turn to vote for this one as the former changed their chef, followed by a poor rice and shrinking materials used for good roll. I had even been charged for an additional small dish of ginger. At the one, you should try the love boat, the sashimi is fresh and they give you enough wasabi and ginger. We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes before lunch ended and were seated, but it took until 3 PM for someone to come and take our order. When they finally did, we were told we couldn't order from the lunch menu because the computer wouldn't allow it. The male server was rude and unhelpful. We decided to leave, as I refuse to tolerate poor service. We ended up at Copper’s Hawk, where we received excellent service instead.
I have to admit that I'm not really a fan of sushi, but I visited the restaurant because my two nieces love it and praised it as excellent. They offer a wide variety of dishes beyond sushi. I ordered the orange chicken, and it was absolutely delicious with a generous portion. I will definitely return! Food: 5/5
This is a review for their delivery. Some of the best delivery I’ve had in three years. The saba tasted freshly grilled and the fish was still cool. The tempura was still crispy. It was a hard order for delivery and they NAILED IT. Husband just said that that’s the best takeout sushi he’s ever had.

Horrible service! Forgot to put our order in and then tried to explain that it was just because we ordered appetizer (we did not! . If we hadn't asked about it after the table next to us (who was seated 10 minutes after us got their food, we'd probably still be waiting for our food.
This place is cozy and somewhat private to sit and eat. There are wall separators and the food is reasonable. I ordered a bento box and its tons of food for only 20 bucks its enough for two meals imo.
Absolutely delicious. Im not a sushi lover but had the fried rice spicy and shrimp and vegetable tempura. Super fresh and light as a fried dish can be : Maybe I will turn into a eater one day..
Miso ramen and lunch box b are AMAZING! Definitely our favorite place for sushi now!! Clean and excellent service.
