Colossal Cafe - Reservar una mesa

I changed Mr original review from 5 stars to one for this reason. I drove 30 min to have brunch with my daughter. Got there and there was a line (no problem). Typically when I 've gone there the seating is first come first serve so when a spot opens up I told my daughter to sit there while I ordered (I was next in line and the spot was right next to the line). 20 seconds later the waitress comes up to me saying we need to move because they have people waiting for that spot. 2 seconds later they give the spot to the people who were in front of me who were a party of 4 and told them they could wait there for the time being . Also heard the cashier give them a free cinnamon roll. After I paid for my food I was told by a employee that it was a 30 minute wait for my to go order when I had already waited so long in line with a young child I 'm curious as to why my daughter and I did not receive the same courtesy and kindness as everyone else. Altho they serve the best breakfast food I have ever had I will no longer be visiting this restaurant due to poor customer service. Too bad because I 've told so may people about this place and I will no longer be recommending this establishment. Original review I gave 5 stars: The best pancakes I 've ever had.ever good service and good miss. I wish the location was larger so I could have a bigger party but I love the small feel. Will be coming back!

The place: Deli counter vibes. Cozy, the line hits the door pretty easily. When you go, you get a table name from the host. They’ll put your table name on your assigned table, then you stay in line to order off the generous menu. There’s plenty to see in the bakery display, feast your eyes (before feasting your face) on the enormous cinnamon rolls. The location: Walkable area, lots of street parking in front and around the corner. The food: Delicious. There’s a good amount of vegetarian options, both sweet and savory. I was tempted by the Greek frittata and the weekend special (a breakfast sandwich with goat cheese, tomatoes, egg, and something else I can’t remember). I got the veggie chorizo bowl which came with rice, veggies, two salsas, and eggs. Great flavor, came out piping hot. Would definitely get it again. The service: Delightful. Everyone knew their stuff and kept the line moving. Next time: I might need to get a mimosa and roll a die for something to eat because anything looks good.

Ordered from door Dash I had the brie walnut apple pancakes absolutely disgusting the pancakes itself is fine it’s everything else that one with it also got oatmeal and it was very dry and also ordered a iced chai tea latte was absolutely nasty. Very disappointed and also why can we not rate restaurants on door dash because I had to come to google to just give my review

Restaurant is small. Sitting is limited, but they can accommodate a big group too. Service was ok. Pancakes were just ok. They were not as fluffy as some review mentioned. Overall, food was good.

Fantastic place to get breakfast or brunch. Great food and fast service. The big draw is their generous, fluffy pancakes, so if you're a pancake lover, this is the place to go.
